Buying .cm Domains Misspelling Gold
There has been a new buzz that I have seen and participated myself on now the availability of the .cm domains which are the domain extensions from the country of Cameroon.
Now whats great about these domains are the potential for misspelling of the .com extension here is an example of data found from domain misspellings from 3 of the most popular sites on the Internet.

It’s not only possible to get a ton of free misspelled traffic from these domains but its also an opportunity to get a one word domain which is practically impossible now with most domain name extensions. I have been taking this opportunity to purchase single word domains but the problem is there not cheap, some of these registrars are charging $799 for 2 years of the purchase of the .cm domains which they are taking advantage of the potential of the .cm as its very similar to a .com in appearance.
Here is some good news that am willing to share, when it comes to buying .cm domains and that is Namecheap are offering .cm domains at a price of $104.99 to me this was a bargain as i was going crazy finding these .cm registrars selling the cm domain name being sold for between $150-$300 per year and that’s not including taxes on top of that.
I remember having talks with friends about domains and how we should have bought lots of domains 10 – 12 years ago but the truth is we did not really have a true vision of the future to see the power of domains and when you realise it then becomes obviously to late to do any thing about it because everyone has saturated the market and bought these domain names up even misspellings are pretty hard to find.
Domain names are true real estate and are a great investment if you can spend 1000 dollars on 10 domains with the .cm extension its definitely worth considering as an investment because you don’t want to look at this opportunity 10 years from now and say I wish i bought a few .cm domains when I could have gotten single word domains.
Check them out at Namecheap and see if you can uncover some gold nuggets.
